Our designs were made by our craftsman Paul, our special bending techniques (Trade Secret) allow us to bend our landing nets directly into our handles to make a one piece fishing net. We use Maple, Cherry Walnut for our handles you can custom order your own size handle length and wood species.

We believe that the best fly-fishing nets are made with traditional craftsmanship and local materials and Holland Fishing Cove is proud to produce handcrafted wood landing nets right here in Holland Michigan.
We design different shapes on paper before we settle on what we find to be a great balance of grip and comfort. Our nets are handcrafted with a teardrop shape so that the end of the hoop is large enough to pull in any catch, while the holes of the fish safe rubber net bags are small to avoid losing a smaller catch.
We spend a lot of time picking beautifully grained wood from our local hardwood supplier
It is important to stay close by so that we can have a hand in not only picking the most beautiful wood, but also in processing it down correctly. Also, as we stay local is akin to suppliers for their exceptional products.
What is a Holland Cove Landing Net? Our multi specie handles is the aesthetic centerpiece of our nets. Maple marries into a Walnut hoop with a Maple pinstripe accent. Our nets come in several
